On February 23rd
my sister Amy went into Freeport Memorial Hospital and had major surgery
done to her left knee. The surgery took over 2 hours and required 70 staples
to close the incision. The surgery went well, but Amy developed an infection
that gave her a fever that went as high as 102.8 degrees. As of this date
(02/28/00) she remains in the hospital.

My son, Matt,
officially became an employee of the same company I work for, Acxiom. He
will work the same shift that I do. Our schedule is Sunday thru Tuesday
nights from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am, and also alternating Wednesday nights as
well. Matt's new position will be as a Tape Librarian in the media area.
Congratulations Matt!!!!!

My daughter, Dana, will
be performing in the musical "Brigadoon" at Romeoville HighSchool on March
17,18,24&25 at 7:00 pm, and on Sunday March 19 at 2:00 pm. That's
my girl!!!!!!!!!

My other daughter, Stephanie,
is now a member of the singing group "Stars and Stripes" at Independence
School. In June the group will be traveling to New York City for a tour
and an appearance on the "Today" show! Way to go Steph!!!!

Nephew Kyle Follansbee
has been quite busy! He recently achieved Life rank in Boy Scouts, and
is now working toward Eagle! He will be interviewing for Leadership Corps,
and will also be working at Summer Camp for 6 weeks.

Kyles "Show Choir" group took 4th place
at a competition in Pekin IL this past Saturday (the 26th). Wooo
hooo Kyle!!!

Nephew John Duffin recently
took 2nd place for his weight class at a regional wrestling tournament!
